pixels!

Finally! A post! I'm technically not supposed to start lighting until Spring but I've been itching to! So I decided to go to the lab today and do some tests, mainly to scope out how long things will take, what kind of errors I'll get, texture changes I should make, etc. This is very much a work in progress-- I only had a couple of hours and this isn't even 50% done-- but I felt really good doing it. It was a nice change from all the animating I've been doing all quarter.

Hopefully, as I animate my shots, I'll be able to continue these tests. I'm really displeased with my textures though =(

Good news is that I'm pretty much done with the 3D animation, except for fixes that I'll leave for later. Working on the memory shots now.. Doing a 2D/3D film is hard! I don't know why I decided to do it.. But at least it's teaching me a lot about pipeline.

All the drawing and clickety-clicking is bad news for my tendonitis though!

OH and here's a quick concept art that the fabulous Robyn Stanford did for me a while ago that I'm trying to work towards. She's awesome.

Also here's a style test I had done last quarter that I won't end up using. The quality here is terrible of course.
